This powerful collaboration is already turning heads down at the grounds. Thanks to the generous backing of Kilcoyne & Scahill Motors Ltd, two striking new 10ft x 5ft V-Board signs have been installed at the main pitch, proudly showcasing a partnership built on community spirit and local pride.
But this sponsorship goes far deeper than pitch-side branding. The vital funds injected by Kilcoyne & Scahill Motors Ltd will directly support the club’s ongoing facility upgrades, essential maintenance, and the heartbeat of the organisation: grassroots football.
Designed, printed, and expertly installed by the brilliant Chris Harper of mysign.ie, they stand as a vibrant new landmark at the grounds and in the town.
Crucially, the signs also feature bilingual text, made possible with funding from An Baile Seirbhíse Gaeltachta: Caisleán an Bharraigh, which is supported by Gnó Mhaigh Eo. With the Irish language proudly printed on the face of the boards ("Fáilte go Cumann Peile Chaisleán an Bharraigh" and "Croílár an Phobail. Spiorad an Chluiche."), it serves as a beautiful, daily reminder of the club's deep-rooted Irishness and cultural identity amidst its modern growth.
As a progressive organisation, the campus has recently undergone a massive transformation, now boasting:
A State-of-the-Art AstroTurf Pitch: Providing top-tier playing conditions all year-round.
A Newly Constructed Car Park: Ensuring safe and easy access for all families.
The club will continue to strive for continued growth and success, all currently undertaken by our committee & volunteers & would urge anyone who has spare capacity/time, to increase our volunteer number- there can never be enough.
What truly sets the Club of the Year apart, however, is its vibrant and inclusive community, proudly bringing together a diverse group of members representing 31 different nationalities.
Player welfare also takes centre stage this season. Castlebar Town F.C. is delighted to highlight its vital partnership with Paul Dorrian of DNPT.ie. Paul provides elite-level physical therapy requirements for all club members, focusing heavily on injury prevention, management, and safely supporting players on their journey to return to play.
True to its core values, Castlebar Town F.C. is a completely open, diverse, and inclusive club. There is a place for everyone here, with squads and development programmes running across all ages:
U6 Academy: Where the fun begins and future stars learn the basics.
